Allison Hensey | WRI Director
Allison is driven to work collaboratively to improve the wellbeing of Oregon’s people, environment and communities. She comes to Meyer after a childhood spent on Western rivers and a career in collaborative conservation. Prior to Meyer, Allison led the Sustainable Agriculture and Watersheds Program at Oregon Environmental Council, and before that, served as a Policy Analyst with the Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board. She also volunteers as a board member with the East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District, which helps people care for land and water.
Cristina Watson | WRI Program Officer
Cristina is driven by a love of rivers and dedication to strengthening the connection between people and nature. Prior to Meyer, Cristina worked as an environmental educator focused on rivers and watersheds, most recently for the Middle Fork Willamette Watershed Council outside of Eugene. Cristina has also worked as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer since 2006. She currently volunteers as a crew leader with Friends of Trees in the Green Space Initiative, a program to restore native plant habitat along streams and in parks and neighborhoods in the Portland metro area.
Kelly House | WRI Program Associate
Kelly is driven by a passion for public service and a belief in our shared responsibility as stewards of the lands and waters we call home. Before joining Meyer, Kelly spent six years as a reporter in The Oregonian newsroom, most recently as the paper’s statewide environment reporter. The work gave Kelly a deep appreciation for the people laboring to improve Oregon’s environment for future generations.
